In Seamist Studio, the children celebrated the Indian Holi Festival on Thursday 1st March by sprinkling coloured powder over each other. The children enjoyed the sensory experience of smearing powder over their faces, hair and clothing (as well as on their friends!). Everybody had a wonderful time, including the educators!
The Holi Festival symbolises equality, togetherness and forgiveness. To further celebrate Holi throughout the week, we also did lots of painting activities with a variety of different colours.
