My Story

Simone has an amazing insight into combining creative thinking with passion. She is passionate about supporting Aurora’s Senior Management, staff and teams to grow and flourish via positive leadership, communication, creativity and innovation. She holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree from Swinburne University. 

As a HR Manager from 2013, Simone manages all Aurora’s staffing and HR initiatives, including retention and recruitment, training, HR budget planning, project management, staff incentive planning and coordinating professional development plans for all employees. Aurora has a strong focus on connectedness between staff and she pays attention to their personal well being.

Simone’s role in Aurora has expanded to take on additional roles in the area of marketing, promotions, operations and is the right hand to the CEO, driving new programs and initiatives for the organization. Simone has established a great culture for Aurora’s staff and is also committed to mindfulness and positive reinforcement of behaviours. Her maturity and experience with nurturing staff have gained her much respect and commitment of her team.

Simone is a great multi-tasker, at the same time attentive to detail, loves the creative aspects of her role. Simone’s patient nature, judgement and maturity see her go out of her way to help others and ensure Aurora achieves the highest standards in early education and childcare.
